    It is still necessary to unlock, but ask rogers if they'll unlock it for free, seeing as how you'll be paying them in the end anyway.

    Just saw the Razr V3 on sale at the local mall and was thinking of getting it. I'm with Fido and was thinking of unlocking the phone. But with Rogers having bought fido was wondering if it was necessary.
