you could try to unlock the sidekick but even if you unlock it you wont be able to use it for aim, email, web browsing, you know all the good stuff. just as a phone and to text people

Did she pay retail to get it, can she fax that as proof, she’s here she needs the handset type and the IMEI (serial) number, if she’s here she can email the information needed to get the ‘sim unlock code for a purchased handset’ she can give your email address or forward the response she gets to you, it will be the unlock code and instructions, the timeframe is usually 24 to 48 hrs.

hello kabayan! kamusta! check metropolis mall in alabang they unlock any kind of cell there. go to the ground floor and look for a stall name (round circle) they even convert the u.s cell phone to use there in the philippines. i was there last nov,04 and i have four nokia 3390 and they convert all of that to 3315 with no problem. don't go to greenhills any they charge alot of money if the see that your phone is from overseas. ingat lagi dyan.

Well i've seen the sidekick 2 unlocked on ebay. right now the phone should be locked to t-mobile since they are the only suppliers of it and it is locked to their network. however, like i said there is a way.
