I'm going to mention straight up front. I'm cellphone ignorant, that's why I am here. I personally like to do most of my talking in person so when I'm on a phone it's for a short time and that's why I like these "Go" plans. I really like a system where I can pay by the minute and not monthly. However, I don't know what kinds of phones support this and what companies have plans like this?

So my questions are...

What companies have minute based plans?
Can any phone be used with any company?
Which companies have the best receptions?

Honestly guys, I'm lost and need your help. So any information would be great.
