    I have the exact same problem. My phone got sent to the manufacturer and now they want $200 to fix it. They say I dropped it. I had the phone for 3 weeks and never dropped it and it started doing the exact same thing you described.

    your screen may need to be either degauzed or replaced.

    yes, thats how you use them. Some dont require a 'talk' activation. Um.... i've NEVER heard of ORANGE pixels being dead pixels... you got me... dead pixels would be black.. was your phone near or around a strong magnet?

    A while back some orange pixels started to appear on my screen. Several days later the amount of orange pixels seemed to multiply and now I am stuck with a relatively large circle of orange pixels that block my screen. Are these dead pixels? Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

    I've heard about these codes and maybe they can help, but I am unsure (too stupid) how to use them. Do you just type them in and hit talk as if you are dialing a phone number?
