    hi all ,

I have a problem i am in the uk and my girlfriend is in america , she lost her phone this morning , she has a contract with sprint which she has suspended till they can give her a new phone . What im wondering is can she buy some cheap phone from walmart for $30 like a tracphone and will that allow me to call her and not get charged for incoming calls. in the uk someone can call you for 365 days at a time and you wont get charged for incoming calls but i hear its different there . I know when i call her she still gets charged on her current contract but are pay as you go phones different or if not is there a provider that will allow free incoming calls in the evening or weekend. She lives in L.a so i imagine most networks should have pretty good coverage , Am i right ??thanks everyone , I really hope someone can help asap because we really hate not being able to talk.
    Thanks

    Ross
