...It was that CPF convention.... y'know the one in that city in the desert we all planned ....I still don't completely get why no one remembers actually being there... I know boss, you keep telling me "that's normal," but I'm starting give credence to Tony's "alien abduction" theory....

And 3 cheers for the "IN" stuff from me too spoolin'... My bro nearly halved his bill after I explained that all Verizon folks would be free... that means his wife's 3 sisters, her mom, and 2 best friends (the bulk of his bill) along with me (her sis-in-law) and my mom no longer counted on his wireless bill.... (guess who uses the cellphone more in that family? )

...and they're both good guys... but if you saw the crud behind that couch from Boss living there the past year... umm... yeah...

Hey now, you know the deal, what goes on in CPF, stays in CPF!

Damn, now where have I heard that before?

Hide? From what? Or whom should I say? Lolz..

Anyways, yes it's all Radioshack's..it's a mutual agreement more so or from what I've been told. Yes Verizon's plans are a bit higher but with the coverage you can't really go wrong right now..I was paying about $102.99 with my discount where I work for the 1350 min plan plus the $19.99 for the 2500 text..then added the bf to my plan and did the family share and now I pay about $70 because of all the texting and calls it's mainly with him..and the lucky guy got a nice Treo 650..nice phone!

Yeah... that'd be me... ah well... not like I could get a local number anyway

I mean... the independent place can't go Cingular if there isn't a Cingular signal at the store where they're selling... Couldn't activate a phone or anything...

All Radioshacks are getting rid of Verizon. From what I hear, Radioshack is dumping Verizon for a number of reason's, but the biggest is that the Shack isn't making enough money off the phones as they think they should, stating that, "Verizon is charging to much for their phones."

Bad part of this, is there are a lot of Shacks in smaller area's where there are no other service providers.....so, I guess they are screwed. A friend works at the shack says he makes most of his paycheck on phone sales.

Hubby's guy worked for Verizon and was about to take a position "the competitor"... but he got a letter in the mail detailing the clause he'd signed and a few court cases where others have lost... Must be he ran his mouth to the old boss, eh? ...

Is this ALL Radioshacks switching? or an independent thing?

Yeah thanks..I worked for Verizon Wireless back in 2001-2002 and I worked for TMobile About 2001 as well for not long hehe they sucked to me, and ATT and Cingular when they merged in 2002 as well..So yes I have some experience as well as the bf does too he is a manager at RadioShack so he knows all about Sprint, and now they are getting rid of Verizon Wireless there and are taking on Cingular in exchange..
