Nope not true...still have to stick with a Sprint phone. This will eventually be the case after the merger is complete, but not just yet.

ok so i signed up for a two year contract with sprint about a year ago and iv been through 3 phones already and about a week ago my phone got stolen so i need a new one... and the other day my friend told me too get a nextel but i said but i have sprint but he said that you can buy a nextel phone and activate it with a sprint plan too now that they merged... is that true??? and if not does that mean the only phones i can activate on my plan are sprint phones??
