Hey,
I have to admit i have no idea what the hell I'am doing. But recently i got a new nextel i730 and bought a data cabel and quickley put on an animated start up image. Now a few weeks later I have no idea how to get rid of it. Please help, and a lot of thanks in advance.
Thanks

aaahhhh no way to delete it!!!!!!!!
But you can just save another image right over top of it. So if the image is named carrier_img.gif just load another image in it with the same name (carrier_img.gif ) to replace it..

This is the names you have to use to replace the factory ones:
browser_img.gif - replaces the image when you start internet ( will only show the first time you start after powering the phone)
carrier_img.gif - replaces the Nextel image during power up
java_img.gif - replaces java image during power up
pwrdown_img.gif - replaces Nextel done during power down
text_img.gif - replaces the t9 text image during power up
