Wats webjal? if its sumtin that u download directly from the phone i dont want that i want to kno wthe program that you make ur own... do you know it?

look up web jal on this site. It a program that you use on the comp to install java apps and ring tones on the phone.

YOu cal look it up on this board, but it up loads midi, wav and jar files to your phone.

Ok let me explain myself clearly...... I want a program in which i can create my own ringtones then upload them on to the phone... do you know anything about that??? because from my knowlege myjal or webjal u have to get the program then find the ringtones... and thats not wat i want.... I want to make my own

well you could use a midi program such as cakewalk or i can not think of the the more pro one. but you need a system with a synth connected to it.

the 860 can use mp3 ringtones also so i think thats what she means. im also interested in anything cool to deal with an 860

Can make MP3's, midi, wave and such. Bascially set the song timer to play only what you want as a ring. Only problem is the sound quality must be adjusted to a very low setting. Another thing with i860 is that it will only play 4 seconds of the song, pause for a few seconds then play the remainder. I'm having the same issues. Works fine for my i730 but not with the i860. Guess Nextel is making it more difficult to download rings.
