We're actually in an age of 3 mega-pixel cameras in phones now adays. And 5 coming around the corner. But I agree,0.3 mega-pixels is a bit "Small".

There are many reviews of why they have brought out something so small, when there are more possibilities out there. But,theres nothing you can do about it.Thats just what they came out with.My guess is that this phone has been under development for sometime now,and they just didnt have time to change the specs on the camera.

You don't want the phone to replace a real digital camera. Higher pixels means more storage requirements and more processing. This can drain the battery and make the phone very slow when bringing up pictures.

Higher pixelation also will not make the picture much better on these small screens. Thumbprint sizes are sufficient.

If you want print quality pictures use a real camera.
