I860 Backgrounds

if i use GIF pictures, can they be animated on my i860 phone, because i found animated pictures as GIF files and i also make them so i was wonderinf if they would work on the phone if anyone knows let me know.

Change the GIF size to 176x220 and give it a whirl. I've wondered the same thing. Worst thing that could happen is it won't show up. Lemme know how it works out.

no animated gif files will you work on any nextel phone to date

previously this could be done with all falcons up to the 860....things have changed a little bit and i don't think anyone has figured it out for the 860 yet.


but if u have a 730 or whatever u can drop the appropriate sized animated gif onto the phone only during the carrier logo, text logo, browser logo, java logo and power down logo.

use webjal and load with these filenames:

text_img
java_img
browser_img
pwrdown_img

i don't have the original so u'll have to dig them out urselves for a few animated gifs click here and here
