ok ive had nextel for a while but after seeing this site and reading the posts for a while i also want to attempt to make my own ringtones and wallpaper. ok so say i have the usb data cable, rss, and webjal is that all i need to add the wallpaper and ringtones to my phone(i730). as far as music editors i have musicmatch, roxio, and one other one are these good to use? also what drivers do i need for the usb cable? also i want to change the color paletes on my phone how do i do that? also do i need the depot? all the help i can get the better.

ok scratch the i730 i just upgraded to a i860 can someone help me or guide me through steps the download wallpaper and ringtones to this phone and help change the strings to get different color palets. i would greatly appreciate it thanks in advance

to upload ringtones, wallpapers and java apps you will need webjal. you can download it from

there is a program called webjal,that can Only download ringtones,wallpaper.MPEG for i860 and games,thats it!you can extentend the time on the camera with a special software.you can also add a full mp3 to i860.there is more!!!if you have any questions hit me on [email protected]

hey 1badss thanks for the link i got it downloaded and all and unziped and onto my computer but once i tried to open it up a message pops up that says the application was unable to retreive required information from the server. what does this mean please help

you can go to iden-bros.com and get webjal and patcher.There is also a tutorial on how to download full mp3's on to an i860.you need cool edit pro to convert to an mp3 there is also a tutorial for that.This is one of the most organized sites for nextel units out right now!check it out!!!
