Hi, I got a new cellphone for christmas yesterday and I'm wondering, how do I upload a ringtone to my phone from my computer and what format is the ringtone supposed to be? (I myself have an i710 phone) I have the cable to connect my phone into the usb slot but from there on I'm a complete blank as to what I should do. If anyone has any ideas please post and help me. It would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Or if someone can tell me if there's a way to download one of the ringtones from this site to my computer that would also be great (my provider is nextel, which is why I'm kind of uncertain on if I'm able to download one of these site's ringtones because I don't know if they would work), or if you know a site with a good polyphonic ringtone of the Final Fantasy 7 victory fanfare music that would be just as awesome.

I've heard of it but doesn't that void the nextel warranty? I'm just wondering because I read somewhere that it does.

Loading ringtones via WebJal doesnt void the warrenty, For all Nextel knows, you downloaded them from the Nextel site...

lol thanks. Just wanted to make sure of that before I did anything stupid.

EDIT: Ok I got something weird. I installed webjal, the patcher, and the usb drivers but when I add the midi's to my download list and click download it says there is no phone connected, what am I doing wrong (yes the phone is connected to the cable and the cable is in the usb slot)

lol nice timing I got it working a minute before you posted Anyways I was able to upload one of them into my phone then it kind of went kaput and wouldn't add anymore it kept saying this:

A general communication error occured while communicating to the phone. Please verify the connection between the computer, phone and cable as well as your preference settings. In addition you may try setting the phone Baud Rate to 19200.
