OK, so I go to charge this thing like I always do, by connecting the phone to the charger. The blue light goes on, but instead of the screen saying "device attached" like it usually does, it just says "i850." I pull the phone off the charger and open the flip cover to see "i850" stuck on the screen. It won't power down, so I have to remove the battery to get it to turn off. When I power it back up, it gets stuck on the "i850" screen.

I have tried removing the battery and SIM card, reinserted both, etc., but not even that has worked.

Any suggestions?

And it figures this happens on a weekend when Nextel is closed.
