    I870 Ringtone format:
    .mp3 or.wav files (PCM), 8000 Hz, 8bits, and 1 channel (or mono).
File name under 12 letters, length under 30 seconds.

I tried this and my phone still only shows regular ring tones. I tried with the file on the card and on the phone with no luck.

Are nextel motorolas able to do this?

Ah...so I need to use a cable to load them into the phone? as opposed to BT or the microsd card?
