Re: I think im getting the ic502 and i have some questions
I just got this phone yesterday at no charge. Sprint Nextel shipped it to me overnight and included a host of invoice credits, extended capacity battery, extended battery door, car charger, etc.--all at no cost. I had been experiencing so many problems with my Nextel i850's horrible cell service that Sprint Nextel gave me a lot of cust. satisfaction freebies.
So far, I like this phone, although I'm trying to figure out how to do certain things, and the manual hasn't helped.

Re: I think im getting the ic502 and i have some questions
I'm pretty sure it's crap and going to cause you problems in the future, I've seen people so excited about it and then now there having so many problems buy at your own risk, I'm advising you to look into something else though.

Re: I think im getting the ic502 and i have some questions
It's not crap at all. I am very pleased with it. It's rugged, feature-rich, and the cell phone quality alone is second to none. Compared to my i850, it's like night and day.

Re: I think im getting the ic502 and i have some questions
I don't to which problems you are alluding; perhaps you ought to be specific. I have so far experienced none, and the same can be said for several associates I know who also just got the ic502.

Well, there's multiple phones with SIM card issues, reception issues, certain services not sure which ones. Those are some of the problems...

Re: I think im getting the ic502 and i have some questions
I have quite a few customers using the ic502 (well over 1000 units) and by and large the response is positive. I have heard of 2 issues from my customers: Battery life and muffeled sound when using DC with the flip closed. S/N is now shiping the ic502 with extended batteries and doors, and Motorola is modifying the design of the flip on newer models.
One thing to keep in mind if buying a PowerSource phone, test it at the location you will be using it the most!
There were some inventory issues and backorders, but they now have the ic502 in stock!

Re: I think im getting the ic502 and i have some questions
If you use Microsoft Outlook on your PC to organize your calender don't get the ic502! I rely heavily on Outlook and have not been able to transfer the data from my PC to the phone without error. I don't think Motorola tried to build these platforms to interface with microsoft.
Very dissapointed
