Are the processors something you can upgrade if needed? I was checking out the 920 after a co-worker suggested it as I might be shopping for a new phone after I get out of the contract that I am currently stuck in. What about battery life? Is there a way to push it past the 8-9hrs that users are reporting?

Re: Lumia 920 processor
Not sure about the processor but I'll take tavenger5's word on that. As for battery life, you could look into extended batteries for the 920. I had an HTC phone about a year and a half ago that I was able to purchase an extended battery for, through eBay. It was thicker than the manufacturer's supplied battery so it made the phone slightly thicker and heavier, but it lasted light years longer than the original battery. (It actually came with an extended back because it was so much thicker that the original back wouldn't fit on the phone anymore.)
