query about whatsapp

I have nokia lumia 610. I had purchased this on 21 august 2012. How can i download new version of whatsapp because it is downloaded from market place but it is not working. when i entered my country and mobile number then accepted the terms and conditions. But it is not moving further from creating favorites. I have tried it many times. Actually my windows phone is not supporting new version of whatsapp. Now please tell me what to do??????
