Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC or Mac:

  1. Connect the Lumia 640 to your PC or Mac vis USB
  2. Follow the prompts and download one of the two apps depending on the type of your computer:
  3. Open the application and use it to import audio files from the computer

Change the Ringtone for All Calls:

  1. From the Start screen swipe to the "Apps" menu
  2. Scroll to and tap "Settings"
  3. Tap "ringtones + sounds"
  4. Optionally tap the "Vibrate" switch to enable or disable this feature
  5. Tap "Ringtone" and select the ringtone you want to assign

Change a Single Contact's Ringtone:

  1. Tap "People" on the Start screen
  2. Select the desired contact and tap "edit" (icon shaped like a pencil)
  3. Swipe down and tap "+ringtone"
  4. Tap the ringtone you wish to use and press "Save"

Change the Notifications Sound:

  1. Access the "Apps" list by swiping the Start screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "notifications + actions"
  4. From here you can change the notification settings for the action center, quick actions, and applications
