    Tips & Tricks To Manage RAM usage:

    • Ensure your applications are up to date
    • Clear recent applications
    • Restart your phone regularly
    • Clear app cache / data
    • Monitor your newly installed app and see their RAM usage

    SD and Internal Storage Management

    Check the Amount of Free Storage:

    1. On the Start screen, swipe down from the top
    2. Tap “All settings
    3. Swipe to and tap “storage sense
    4. Tap “SD card” or “Phone” and view the available values

    Change the Default Storage Location:

    1. Swipe down from the top of the Start screen
    2. Go to “All settings
    3. Swipe to “storage sense
    4. Tap to change the default storage location from “SD card” to “Phone” or the other way around

    Format the SD Card:

    WARNING! Formatting the SD card will remove all data stored on it, including media files, contacts, downloaded content and so on. If necessary, perform a back up before proceeding.

    1. Swipe the Start screen left
    2. Scroll to and tap “Settings
    3. Tap “storage sense” > “SD card
    4. Swipe to and tap “format SD card
    5. Tap “Yes” to confirm

    Transfer Files Between the Lumia 435 and a Mac or Windows PC:

    1. To easily transfer files between the Lumia 435 and computer you need one of the following applications:
    2. Install the application, launch it and follow the on-screen steps to start transferring files between your devices

    Insert / Remove the SD Card:

    1. With one hand, hold the phone’s top corners, and with the opposite thumb press the back cover to remove it (as seen in the image below)
    2. Remove the battery
    3. Insert the SD card in its slot and refit the battery
    4. Snap the bottom edge of the back cover back into place and refit it
