    sending the MIDs via I/R works just fine that's what I'm doing until I get bluetooth.

    Use WAP.....It's easier. You just upload your 4 Channel Midi file to some free web-space (I'm using the space from my provider) and then point it to that address and you'll have it.

    If you wanna send it via IR, then you'll need some software, like Nokia PC Suite from the nokia site.

    hey im having a little trouble using wap to get a ringtone direct to my 7210. I tried it but somehow it did not work maybe I press the wrong button. Can anyone give me specific directions and guide me through to get one tone

    just use PC SUITE..there's a version for nokia 7210( i think it's version 5.0)..Cool software..

    I have been trying to use WAP to fetch midi files from a basic webpage I set up, but just get the message "Response Unknown" when trying to connect from my phone?! Can anybody point me in the right direction?

    You could also probably use the Nokia Data Cable (DKU5).. Not sure if its compatible with your phone, but i think it works with numerous new nokias.

    using the pc suite version 5.0, it is possible to infra midi files straight from your com..
