if you have wap, i made a geocities.com account, uploaded ringtones to there and went to the address on my phone and it works perfectly!

Have you tried emailing it as an attachment? Does this work for you?

Infrared is kinda like your remote control for the TV , you just point and zap it over there on a signal. If your PC and your Nokia have the capability, it's a great choice. (most Nokia's do, don't know 'bout your PC though) If your friend has the midi on his Nokia you could send it IR from one phone to the other.

Is it possible to send midi files to a Nokia 6010 without WAP or any sort of internet on your phone? I tried emailing one as an attachment and it didn't work, just came as a normal text message with nothing else

go to www.cbfmobile.com and click on wap download at the top. Then, you can upload ringtones, pics, games, mp3 etc. You don't even have to register!

Then the only way to get them is either buy a cable for the phone to link with the computer or, get one of your mates to send you one by infared / multimedia message.
