    Head into your message settings
    (Messagin > Options > Settings > Text Message) And then make sure the following are set up properly;

    Message send as : Text
    Preferred connection: GSM
    Reply via same ctr. : No

    Is the message centre number down as if its a foreign number,
    By that i mean does it have "+" before it and the country code, then the first number dropped of the real number.

    What network are you btw, what country o2?

    The message centre is stored on the sim, so if it works in other phones then it isnt that, at a long shot you could try resetting your phone, this means you will lose everything you dont back up, if your up for it reply and i'll sort ya out.

    i'm not an expert but i had the same problem when relplying to some messages, and i think it was because of the format of the number...the "+" was missing..
