So I got the cable on ebay and its driving me absolutely nuts. I bought the thing because I read here and it would allow me to upload my own mp3s onto the phone.
Firstly, I don't know if its suppose to say this but when I plug the thing into my phone is says, "does not support enhancement". Secondly, the Nokia Suite takes up 100% of my CPU usage. If I can get the damn thing to open I go through all the directions, read everything in the help section and I cannot figure out at all how to make it allow me to send an mp3 to my phone. I have this file I made that is only 7 seconds long for a ringtone and everytime I attempt to send it it says the phone is not connected.... which doesn't make any sense because it allows me to upload files from my phone onto my computer.... just not vice versa.... so in other words the data cable is completely useless to me.
Does anyone have the same problem and get there's to work? What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem occasionally. First go to the device manager and ensure that DKU-5 is listed under ports. Check the com port setting; probably com5. Now right click on the phone icon in the system tray and choose manage connections. Uncheck everything but the DKU-5/CA-42 cable on com5. If this is already checked, double click it and choose another com port. After it's done, double-click and poit it back to the cable. Not sure what the glitch is, but after disconnecting my phone and reconnecting, I have to do this to get it to register again. Try it and see, I'm still working on a permanent solution. I'll repost if I get it figured out.

Hey Thanks for solving my issue. Was pulling my hair out with a new cable and my 6610. Set the com port and all is well!
