My Nokia 6030 always shows the "voice message" indicator on top left corner of screen, whether I have new messages or not. Is this a malfuncton?

Re: Voice Mail Indicator
You need to make sure that you have listened to every voicemail message in you inbox in full and delete them. If that doesn't fix it, then try turning your phone off for about 10 seconds, then turning it back on. If that still doesn't fix the problem, call your cell phone provider and tell them that your message waiting indicator will not go away and they should have the tools to fix it for you.

Re: Voice Mail Indicator
Thanks! All messages were deleted and the phone is always off overnight. I will contact them (Cingular) tomorrow, when they open.
