I am 16 and I need a phone. I can't get my own plan, so I have to add a line onto my family plan with Verizon. However, I need to find a cheap phone that has all of the good bells and whistles that I want, such as a camera with video, (maybe) mp3 player, ability to buy and play games, etc.
So, I've been looking on the net and I came upon the N-GAGE. I know, I know. It's terrible. But I could get a cheap one and it would have all of the games. I'm big into video games, so that's why I want it. The only thing stopping me from buying it would be that I don't know if it works with Verzion service. Does it?
If not, and you want to make a suggestion for another phone for me to buy, keep the full retail price (without contract or discounts) below $150.

Re: Help
What N-gage do you like? I have had N-gage QD before and it's awesome. You can play superb games, listen to music, but it doesn't have camera though. I think you should buy an unlocked phone, I think it will work out for you

Re: Help
The N-Gage Classic and the N-Gage QD will not work with the Verizon network as both of those phones are GSM, and Verizon uses CDMA network; both digital wireless technologies that are incompatible. Phones that you are limited to are carried on the Verizon network. However, there are some overseas CDMA phones that have been modded to use on Verizon's network. But that might be too complaex for you, and a little too much spending for you. Try and see if you can find a cheap used V or EnV that has not been reported lost or stolen.
