Re: can i use nokia 6265 as webcam?
ufortunatly phones can only be used as webcames if they have a front came, so you wont be able to do that. there are no series 40 applications that can make a phone be used as a webcam. The series 60 still has softwares only for phones that have front cameras such as the n70, n73 and the n95

Re: can i use nokia 6265 as webcam?
Its really a hardware issue rather than software. The USB transfer speed in phones is a lot slower than in a webcam. And obviously live video uses alot of data transfer.
This is a very interesting! If we can get the USB on handset fast enough. That would be really cool!!

Re: can i use nokia 6265 as webcam?
you are right about the part that it is for S60 v2 and v3 but you are wrong about what camera it uses, it can use either or camera front or main. I have this program and use it on my N82 and it gives me an option to select what camera to use, also it works with bluetooth or USB more than enough speed on either or to use it as a webcam, works great actually, if you think about it for a 29fps webcam image you only need about 80kbps of data transfer which both usb and bluetooth exceed that, so it works just fine with USB or Bluetooth, there is quality difference between front camera and main though, the program im using is called webcam2 by warelex.com check it out its called Mobiola, i cant post links yet
check it out, its not free but you can play with the trial.
