The FCC has just recently approved the Nokia N9 and the Nokia N5 smartphones. The Nokia N9 is a MeeGo based smartphone while the Nokia N5 is a Symbian Anna based smartphone.

The two carriers that could possibly launch these two handsets, but probably won't, are AT&T USA and T-Mobile USA, as both handsets carry the 3G connectivity (850/1700/1900 MHz).

The Nokia N9 is said to become available in certain markets in September, in which the US is still a questionable market. You can go to https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=139462&fcc_id='LJPK' to view the Nokia N9's manual and more.

As far as the Nokia N9, not much is know about this handset just yet but we will keep you posted.
