Replaced older Nokia 6133 now missing Apps. Help Please......

Hello All,
I recently replaced both our (wife, me) older Nokia 6133's with some "refurbished" units as listed on Ebay. The units did indeed look brand new and came with all originals. We prefer these basic flip phones so please don't just suggest for us to get some brand new Internet snazzy phone.

Anyhow, I'm experiencing the following issues on both phones.

1) Our reception is weaker (1 to 2 bars) in comparison to our old units? What is the cause of this? I mean should I get new Sim cards as well?

2) We are missing an Icon that was denoted as "Fun & Apps". Consequently, there is no alarm clock to be found on the new units?

FYI, I downloaded Nokia PC suite but no "updates" show? The phones show (*#0000#) the firmware as being v. 05.60.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

I'm wondering if the phones you received were made for a different market and have different frequencies activated.

Can you explain what you mean by a different market and how can I check that? They were listed Nokia T-Mobile units which is what we had. I just switched the Sim cards and they worked fine other than the mentioned issues.

I mean, since it's missing some things software wise, I'm wondering if it wasn't originally for t-mobile USA. Maybe it was for t-mobile Germany, for example. Apparently 5.60 is the latest version of software for the phone though.
