Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
- Once the transfer ends, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification
- Press “OK” to confirm
