Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  5. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  6. Once done, switch to the Android phone and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Access “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. After the vCard is exported, follow one of these steps:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can be used to share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and use it to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Send the vCard to your own email address as an attachment
  4. Switch to the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS is Send Anywhere. The application uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files without requiring computer access.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Android phone
  3. Launch the app on both phones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Lastly choose a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
