Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account, and then sync the account data and contacts with the Android phone.

  1. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With
  4. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
  6. Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used to sync contacts in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: Accessing your iCloud account on a computer connected to the Internet allows you to share your backed-up iPhone contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. Perform one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard via Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer with Internet access, but you can also share your iPhone contacts using third-party applications like My Contacts Backup for iOS which can be used to share content over email.

  1. Install the app on the iPhone from the App Store
  2. Open the app and create a vCard containing the iPhone contacts you want to share
  3. Write an email and attach the vCard
  4. Send the vCard to your own email address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using the Contacts app

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere for Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts without requiring computer access.

  1. Install the app on both phones from their app stores
  2. Open the app on both phones
  3. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts to complete the process
