Maybe some kind of serious problem on that site. Also get notice that Nokia 3510 models doesn't have enough channels than 4. If you try download, say ex. 12 channel MIDI file, it takes it only 4 channels, and it's not quite good sound quality. Try upload/download some 4 channel MIDI files. Here's couple good site, where you can order MIDI/Polyphonic ringtones:
Site 1
Site 2
Site 3

the nokia 3510 only accepts midi files that are less than 10k
in size. also if you try to download imelody or smaf files this can also lead to file errors

Not all midi files are compatible with 3510. It must be SP-MIDI

not necessarily the midi is just the code to tell the on board syn what to do, so a midi file will play on polyphonic phone

3510i only accepts type 1 MIDI's, type 0 (tjsp) doesn't work.
If you've found some nice MIDI file(s) that won't work, you could try this:
1) get the MIDI on your computer.
2) open it with an editing program (doesn't really matter what program you're going to use except that Finale 2000 screws up the file's tempo, avoid that crap please).
3) save the file as a type-1 MIDI.
4) upload to geocities, tripod or some other free site.
5) enter the address (www.geocities.com/username/yourmidi.mid) to your phone's wap browser.
...and there you go
