Hi.
My mate just got a 5100. From what I can gather these have polyphonic ringtones.
My question is, if he has midi files on his PC, how can he get them onto the phone.
He only really wants 1 so I don't think he'd be too keen on buying an IR adapter.
Is there anyway to do this. Does this phone have wap? Maybe I could set up a wap site for him.....Would that work?
I also tried sending them through my T610 to his phone but that didn't work....Is that possible considering they both take midi's?
Thanks

download the pc suite from nokia. this will allow you to upload ringtones to it. files from your t160 (an erricson???) wont work. you need to use the nokia program to get them in the correct format

or you can upload the midi file to your own webserver and use the phone's WAP to go to the online url of the midi file. then your phone will save it and you're done
