Alright, well if anyone read my post about the infrared port, I'm taking it one step forward. To use the Port:
1) Under menu option in your phone select "Tools & Set Time"
2) Select "Infrared Port"
3) Select "Receive Data"
4) Sit the phone near your laptop or pc (if it is a newer model)
5) Wait for your computer to recognize the phone, it will say something along the lines of: "Send files to the computer Panasonic Gd87," "Click here to send files to another computer"or "Another computer is nearby."
6) Drag and drop files (wallpaper, rings) into your phone
Here are some voice ringers (song clips) that I'm currently using as rintones, just in case someone wants to try it.
JayZ My First song
Alicia Keys Diary
Alicia Keys Feelin U, Feelin Me
Foxy Brown O Yeah

It should be mmf format. You should be able to find some in the Ringtones section,

I have a ring tone that I want but it's in a .wav and an mp3 format. Is there a free software utility out there that will let me convert it to what I would need on my GU87?
Thanks.

Tanque - check which format of mmf file you are creating. X400 supports SMAF (MA2) but not SMAF (MA3)
sfman123 - Yamaha make the sound chip in many Panasonic phones. They have tools that will help you convert MIDI files to SMAF format (.mmf). Try here http://smaf-yamaha.com/tools/downloads.html
Everyone - visit www.box.panasonic.com to get ringtones/games etc for Panasonic handsets.
