I have a 1987 Panasonic television that I want to work with basic cable. I need to program the tv to pick up the cable channels but I don't have a remote for it and can't find an auto-program button on it (too old for on screen menus). Do I need a converter box or something? Is there a way to manually program a tv this old without a remote?Idol Lips

i'd suggest get model # first so we have something to work with.. after you got the model # usually at the back printed in white or in a white sticker printed in black.

If you spend some money on new panasonic, then you will get to know that in new old model panasonic all basic cable channels are already available
