Transfer Audio Files from a Computer:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the desired audio files
- Copy the desired files from the computer and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change a Contact’s Specific Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the contact you want to edit
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use
- Tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
