How-to: Panasonic Eluga Ray 550: Create and Manage Contacts and Caller Groups; Reset the Call Log

Create a Contact:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Access “All contacts”
3. Tap “+”
4. Select a method for storing or syncing the contact
5. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and other optional details in the appropriate fields
6. Tap “Done”

Import/Export Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Import/Export”
3. Select to “Import from SIM card” “Import from storage” or “Export to storage”
4. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the process

Assign Contacts to Speed Dial:

1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
2. Access “Widgets”
3. Drag and drop the “Direct Dial” widget over an empty area on the home screen
4. At the prompt, select the contact you want to associate with the widget

NOTE: You can repeat these steps to add multiple Direct Dial widgets for more contacts on the home screen. You can also organize these widgets in folders on the home screen by dragging one widget and dropping it over another.

Reset the Call Log:

1. Launch “Phone”
2. Tap “Menu” > “Call history”
3. To view more details on a call log entry, tap it
4. To clear the call log, tap “Menu” > “Call history”
5. Tap “Clear call log”

Remove a Contact:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Go to “All contacts”
3. Select the contact you want to remove
4. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
5. Tap “Delete” > “OK” to confirm

Create a Caller Group:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Go to “All contacts”
3. Tap “+”
4. Access “Groups” under “Group name”
5. Tap “Create a new group” and enter the desired group name
6. Tap “OK” > “Back”

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Access “All contacts”
3. Tap and hold the contact you want to add to the group
4. Tap “Edit” > “Group name”
5. Select the desired caller group and tap “Back”
