Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
- After the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Add Custom Ringtones to Specific Contacts:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts located on the SIM Card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK”
Change the Notification Alert:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification” > “Default notification ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK”
