Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the computer
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
- Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Add Custom Ringtones for Specific Contacts:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit’ > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
