Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” and optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Add Custom Ringtones to Specific Contacts:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Press “OK” to confirm
Change the Notification Alert:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Device”
- Tap “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
