Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” and optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Add Custom Ringtones to Specific Contacts:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Device” > “Sound & Notifications”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the notification sound you want to use and tap “OK”
