Compare your two phones' EQUALIZER settings. It's under Menu/Settings/

Nokia 6340i with no bass
My wife and I have the same phones. When I talk on hers it sounds like she
has more bass then I do. Is my phone broken, or is there just something set
wrong?

Thanks that was the problem. My phone was on "bright" and hers was on
Normal.
