Results 1 to 5 of 5

This is bugging me to death, so hopefully someone can save me.
I have set up a D-Link bluetooth dongle on my PC so I can sync between
my T616 and Outlook. The contacts seem to sync fine, but when I try to
send appointments they appear +5 hours off. For example, an Dentist
apt. for Noon shows up as 5:00 PM instead of 12:00PM?
I have narrowed it to being an outlook issue since both sending and
receiving from the phone result in the same thing.
I did notice that when you set your time zone in outlook it goes off
of GMT and has a +5 for Eastern. I assume this is where the 5 is
coming from, but how do I get my boys on the same page? Is there a
missing piece to my puzzle?
Thanks,
Jay

Use the same time zone on yout T616 as on your pc - should work - it works
for me.

Re: T616 bluetooth sync with Outlook 2003
Hey Jey,
I think it's the phone.... The phone also has time zone's !
Set the phone for GMT and then go under Advanced in the time and Date menu,
you can set the time zone and daylight saving time there.
When using calender sync appointments are GMT +/- time zone !
In outlook appointments are always i GMT, but you will not notice it, before
you sync with a mobile device.

Re: T616 bluetooth sync with Outlook 2003
Can you explain how you are syncing with BlueTooth? I can get the infrared
to work but have not figured out the BlueTooth.
Thanks

I know this is an oooooold post but.. what are you using to sync with
Outlook 2003? I thought XtndPc that came with the phone doesn't support
2003?
