Is it possible to delete all the mono-ringtones to install only
polyphone-ringtones? If it is possible, how?

Just press the "C" button and delete them like you would with any other
thing in the phone. I like some of the mono-tunes though so I keep a few.

Look throughout your phone for items that you wont need. Unnecessary piix,
templates, games, and tunes. Then you should have plenty of room after to
    add some poly-tunes.

"me too" on Shadow's advice. Some items won't delete (it says "predefined"
or something), but I deleted a ton of pictures (a lot of the little pictures
take up a minimum of 10k of space, even though their actual size is
smaller). Delete any lame games you don't want, and see if there are any
extra "themes" you can delete (I think the "normal" and four seasons themes
    are permanent).

For the t300, you are stuck with the monophonic text message options. I set
mine to "clicks," which is not available on my new t610.

In total I managed to get about 650k free. BUT make sure you always leave
at least 200k empty (I always had 250k empty). If the free memory is too
low the phone starts to act goofy.

It sure gave me problems. The phone would freeze up, not connect to call
out, etc. Maybe only the defective ones were like this, but anything under
100k and the phone almost wouldn't work at all.

Re: deleting the mono-sounds in T300

I've once had 10kb left and I had no problems. I was uploading piix to my
    phone using my data cable.

But I know that with some phones most of the predefined stuff can be
    deleted.

I also got a few games on my phone. So I wont be that bored with my phone
