What bluetooth Headsets do people recommend? A friend recommended the
HBH-35, but it seems a bit old.

I'm leaning towards a SonyEricsson, though, so I can use the voice control
features of my T616, but don't know which model.

Why not consider the Jabra 250? It is comfortable and has great battery
life, voice commands also work well.

Reviews say horrible things about sound quality/interference.

I'd decide between HBH-35 (I'm using its precursor, HBH-30, and
I'm quite happy) and HBH-60, depending on comfort wearing it.

Very probably better voice quality due to the mike nearer to the
source of sound; very probably better standby & talk time.

Otoh, probably not many mind the boom; I for me don't object,
since I wear it mostly when driving.

I just bought the HBH-600 for my T637 and am very happy with
it. It was easy to setup and works great.

That would be why it's probably the best selling bluetooth headset
    then...

That's odd. I wouldn't consider bad sound quality to be a selling feature.

Remember, the best selling food in the world is probably the Big Mac. Being
popular is evidence of effective marketing, not of quality.

There's nothing I can find wrong with mine if I was to lose or break it I
would replace it with the same model, but it looks as if it will last me
until I wish to replace it with whatever version they have in 2-3 years.

An interesting analogy, but I don't think it quite stands up. I doubt
Jabra has anywhere near the marketing spend of Sony Ericsson on
bluetooth headsets. Personally I think Jabra's postion is as a result
of people reading good reviews (I've not seen any negative ones), and
postive word of mouth recommendations. I know several people who have
one, and if anything happened to it would buy another one...

I'm on my second (Sony-)Ericsson BT headset now, HBH-30 after
HBH-15. I don't know anything about Jabra, and never had one, and
am not in the position to comment on these. But I would simply
point out that the fact that S/// headsets having the same
charging connectors as S/// phones (which I happen to use) gives
an advantage that I personally rate quite high. This is the reason
I use it - and probably not heavily spent marketing $$$.

Thus said, I was happy with the HBH-15, and I am happy with
HBH-30. It suits my need quite well.

I have the Jabra as well - fits my rather largish ears and the gel actually
lets me hear what is being said - also I test wore it for 3 hours and it was
comfortable - no sore ear when I took it off - sound quality was good to
excellent - I was hesitant to get it but the sales clerk at Fry's said it
was the best - with a 30 day return policy it is a no risk buy.

Buy the new HBH-300 from Sony Ericsson.
Superb battery lifetime, great audio quality, great comfort on the ear.
Not cheap, but just a very good headset.
