My t637 is internittently very sluggish - it sometimes takes forever to
scroll through numbers or pick an icon. Other times it's just fine. If this
were a PC I would figure there are other processes running. What should I
look at to try & minimize this slowness?

I get that sometimes too but only when iim using bluetooth

There may be such a process running; e.g., Bluetooth connection, GPRS
connection, new email check -- depends on how you have it configured.

After all, the firmware (or OS) of the phone
sometimes has to do some housekeeping,
like garbage collection, etc...
I'm not sure, but maybe even parts of
the user interface are realised in JAVA ?
