How so? I'm in an area of personal expertise here- you have yet to admit
that you have no experience with musical copyrights and are applying at best
a novice understanding of the laws as they apply. Everytime someone brings
a higher level of information that counters your argument, you conveniently
raise the bar for what would be acceptable proof. Those of us that have
actually used the musical copyright laws quite a few times are told that we
can't possibly know what we are talking about, and that your personal,
inexperiemced position makes more sense. I'm not the one selectively
clipping snippets of the previous post out of context to make a point,
avoiding the meat of the post and only focusing on select phrases. I'm not
the one accusing you of getting "too emotional" when you try to defend your
very weak position. I'm not the one avoiding direct questions asked of me,
or deflecting them with nonresponsive answers. I'm not the one stating that
we're not lawyers here, followed by a novice interpretation of the law that
is supposed to justify acts. I'm not the one here who is incapable of
admitting error or mistake out of some pompous need to appear to be
all-knowing.
Your inability to see these flaws as it relates directly to this thread
brings all of your postings under suspicion. Just how much of your
'expertise' in other areas is as much smoke and mirrors as this one? I am
absolutely willing to put my professional credentials with regard to
cellular up against yours any day of the week- I'll even do it right here,
if need be, and will provide references off-line if you feel my integrity
might be an issue. And after that's done, let's look at posting patterns- a
smart guy like you, using your friend Google, should be able to determine at
least two areas of cellular that I never post about. Why? Because its not
an area that I can provide meaningful insight into. I'll even give you hint
to find one of them- in one of Jack's other incarnations, I commented that I
would never challenge his knowledge in this area because the information he
was providing was as good as any out there, no matter what crap he posted on
other topics. And if Jack thinks about it long enough, he can probably
remember and verify that I am speaking the truth here.
Unlike you, I don't need to be the ultimate know-it-all about everything.
As I said, YOU need to get a grip.

Do I really need to repeat it? Hopefully not.

Really? Then why are you acting that way? (rhetorical question

This has gotten pretty childish, so I'm giving you the last word, in the hope
that you'll grow up a bit and give it a rest. Have a nice day.

Repeat what? I left your post intact. Wish you could say the same- once
again, the meat of the post is not included or responded to. Is that the
childish part (selective clipping) you are referring to below?

You obviously didn't read the entire previous post, where I made such an
admission easily verified. And I guess this last clip from you deserves a
pretty typical Navas response- thanks for agreeing that you need to be the
ultimate know-it-all.

I'm being very mature here- you are the one who is acting quite childish,
both in your selective quoting and avoidance of the issues at hand. As far
as growing up goes- I'l wait a while. You obviously need some time to catch
up.

Elmo, do you really think this is Navas' last word? Last time he said
that, it was followed by 12 more posts to the thread, all cross-posted
in clear violation of his own charter.
