    same phenomenon

    Hi all,

I have to second what John told us. The software provided with my Sony Ericsson T630 mobile phone is not able to finish installation successfully, nor able to remove itself which I find particulalry annoying. My notebook runs XP SP2 as John's machine does. Removing SP2 is clearly not an option. Overall, this is ridiculous. I've been screwed up badly by Motorla with similar issue some years ago, when they misleaded me about their softwares compatibility with Windows 98. It has supported only 98 SE, but that turned out after I had purchased the phone. I promised not to buy Motorola ever again, and it seems this is the case with SE. I wonder how many brands I will have to turn my back to.

If anyone knows, how would it be possible to use it as a GPRS modem, may I ask to let me know: fejenagy at gmail dot com
