Does anyone know how to make the V800 message alert louder?

Does anyone know how to customise V800 message alert?

I miss lots of messages because I don't hear them come in.

The message tone has the same volume as the ringtone, set it higher.
Try to use a different message tone, some are longer and at a higher tone.

DaVinci claims it's possible to use any midi tone as a message alert.
You can upload it with their software, but the use aint free.
